Kirkland cookie party

We enjoyed time with our friends, the Kirkland family the other day at their annual cookie party. It's such a great tradition and we're so happy to join them for it. Needless to say there was plenty of cookies, icing and sprinkles to satisfy all needs. The boys decorated cookies

to take home., but I think they ate more there. It was FUN. Cookies for lunch?!, sure why not. SO thankful for Carrie & her crew! We just love them to pieces.

The kids were in and out of that house all afternoon. They had all sorts of weapons and went on adventures. Guns, sticks, crossbows, whips, handcuffs...the supply was endless. It helps to have a Daddy that is a policeman. I wish I had gotten a photo of them all coming out of the woods on one of their expeditions. It was pretty cute. Aaron loves Daisy, and big brother Ben.

Frito, Ian's ball python is always very interesting and fun to manhandle. Josh wants a snake himself. I told him when he has his own house, he's welcome to get one!
